A broad-shouldered miller who took over the harbor windmill from his father. Knows every wind that blows across the cloud-sea and which stone in his mill grinds finest.

    "Ah, a visitor! Mind the dust — the stones have been turning since first light."

  2. Miller Torsten

    "This harbor mill grinds for half the island. The bakers down at the dock won't bake without my flour, and the sails won't turn without the wind."

    "If you find yourself out in the wheat fields, bring me back a few sheaves. I can always use the grain — and you'll not leave empty-handed."
