Keepers and mentors
Every named NPC, their role, dialogue and lore.
Archivist Elin
Keeps the capital archives in disciplined order and quietly collects impossible travel stories.
Banker Kestrel
Long-serving vault keeper who insists every Keeper's hoard is sacred until they say otherwise. Knows precisely where every stack of yours sits, on every island.
Banker Solen
A junior clerk learning the ropes. Quietly proud of catching a misfiled chisel last week.
Cartographer Lyra
Keeps redrawing the Reachlands as new paths appear and old marshland sinks away.
Drillmaster Bren
A retired island warden who now drills new arrivals at the northeast clearing. Believes a keeper who can defend the land should first learn to defend themselves.
Forgekeeper Orren
The forge never fully cools when Orren is in town. Neither does his temper.
Harbormaster Sera
Runs Brackenport with a ledger in one hand and a mooring hook in the other.
Herbalist Niva
Collects roots and bloomcaps from the fen and somehow keeps her sleeves perfectly clean.
Keeper Corvin
Tends the small lighthouse at the south point of tutorial island. Has not slept a full night since he took the post — but his lamp has not gone out, either.
Keeper Elm
One of the oldest Keepers anyone knows. Tends the First Garden and greets every new arrival with quiet patience.
Keeper Flint
A gruff but kind Keeper who has spent years reading the stone. Claims the old carvings are almost making sense.
Keeper Hale
A weather-leathered warden who has greeted every new keeper to set foot on Tutorial Island for as long as anyone remembers. Knows every face that's ever drifted in.
Keeper Maren
A weather-leathered angler who claims to have fished every pool on every island worth naming. Trains new Keepers on the basics: hold the rod with two hands, let the rod do the work, and never reel in anger.
Keeper Rune
A soft-spoken Keeper who tends the Altar Glade. She speaks of the standing stones as though they were old friends, each with its own temper.
Keeper Sage
Speaks in fragments about the Scattering, the Deep, and the Old Ones. May know more than they let on. Offers the Echoes of the Scattering quest chain to keepers who linger.
Keeper Willow
A gentle Keeper who speaks about crops the way others speak about friends. Her field is the most productive on the islands.
Merchant Lio
A cheerful trader who always seems one cart ahead of his own inventory.
Miller Brya
Runs the grove windmill north of the wheat fields. Quieter than her harbor counterpart, but quick with a broom and quicker with a flour-dusted joke.
Miller Torsten
A broad-shouldered miller who took over the harbor windmill from his father. Knows every wind that blows across the cloud-sea and which stone in his mill grinds finest.
Ranger Tavin
A patient scout who knows every safe trail through the eastern timberline.
Stable Hand Tomas
Has worked the harbor stables since before he can remember. Knows every horse on the island by hoof-print and could find any of them in fog.
Sunclerk Mira
Oversees the harvest tallies, beehives, and half the gossip of Sunmeadow.
Warden Bram
A broad-shouldered keeper who watches the old crossroads and knows the names of every caravan captain.
Warden Thessaly
A weather-worn keeper who runs the Hunting Grounds north-east of the village. She holds the Wardens' Hunt Charges and teaches new drifters how the Hunt keeps the Island Children in balance.
Wayfinder Iska
A wayfinder of the old order, charged with keeping the harbor shrine and its scattered siblings. Iska remembers every keeper who's stood here and every one who walked off without listening.
